Obverse description Central cross pattée occupying the inner field, enclosed within an inner circle of pearls. Between the inner and an intermediate circle, the interior legend is inscribed in uncial Latin characters. A second annular band carries the exterior legend, the entire design framed by a third outer circle of pearls. The composition closely follows the Tournois gros type, with the cross as the dominant heraldic motif.
