Reverse description Central field features the arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège — a crowned heraldic device rendered in Gothic style — set within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding intermediate zone and outer border are richly decorated with a continuous foliate or floral scroll interspersed with six-pointed stars and crescent-like ornaments, characteristic of late 13th-century Mosan die-cutting. The mint legend is distributed around the inner legend band, naming the mint city of Huy. The irregular flan reflects standard hammered production of the period.
