| Descrizione del dritto | Within a double pearled border, the crowned lion of Luxembourg rampant to the left on a bureled field, bearing on its breast a quartered shield: quarters 1 and 4 displaying the arms of Burgundy (ancient and modern), quarter 2 the lion of Brabant, and quarter 3 the lion of Limburg. The heraldic lion is rendered in the Gothic style typical of hammered Low Countries coinage of the early 15th century. A circular Latin legend in uncial characters is contained between the two pearled circles. |
