| Opis rewersu | A bold plain cross pattée divides the field into four quarters, each canton containing an upright fleur-de-lys, the emblematic device of the French monarchy. The cross is contained within a double beaded circular border. The surrounding Latin legend, an abbreviated devotional benediction invoking the name of Jesus Christ, runs clockwise between the inner and outer beaded borders. The reverse design epitomizes the standard Capetian-Valois gros type of the period. |
