| Popis líce | Central field depicts a rampant lion passant sinister in relief, rendered in the Gothic heraldic style characteristic of Flemish coinage. The lion is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, surrounded by an outer border composed of ten small circles, nine of which contain a holly leaf motif and one, positioned at 12 o'clock, bearing an eagle. The outer legend in uncial Latin characters runs between the inner and outer borders. The overall design is typical of the struck silver coinage of the County of Flanders under Louis I of Nevers. |
