| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central heraldic shield bearing three fleurs-de-lis arranged in the French royal manner — two in chief and one in base — all within a beaded inner circle. The shield is rendered in low relief typical of hammered billon coinage of the Low Countries. The surrounding field carries the circumferential legend in uncial Gothic lettering identifying the issuing lord. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of hand-struck medieval coinage. |
