| Popis líce | Central field features a crowned Irish harp in high relief, flanked on either side by crowned royal initials 'h' and 'A' (for Henricus and Anna), each surmounted by a small crown, referencing Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. The harp is rendered in the characteristic late medieval Irish style with detailed string work. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, beyond which runs a Latin legend in Gothic lettering. This obverse design is historically significant as one of very few Irish coins to bear the monogram of Anne Boleyn. |
