| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crowned facing bust of Henry VI set within a tressure of arches, with trefoils at the cusps. The king is depicted full-face in a stylised, flat hammered tradition characteristic of mid-fifteenth century English coinage. No mint or privy marks appear on the obverse, distinguishing this as the unmarked issue of the restored Annulet coinage period. The outer legend is separated from the inner tressure by a plain field, and the crown features prominent fleurs-de-lis and arched bands. The legend runs continuously around the outer border in Gothic Latin lettering. |
