Reverse description A large plain cross pattée at center, its arms extending to a beaded inner circle, dividing the inner field into four quarters. The inner circle is itself enclosed within an outer legend band separated by a second beaded border. Two concentric inscriptions carry the pious legend and the monetary attribution of Liège in uncial Latin lettering, the whole characteristic of the gros tournois-derived coinage of the Prince-Bishopric. The overall design follows the established Mosan groat tradition of the period.
