Reverse description Germania, helmeted and robed with flowing hair and drapery, stands at the prow of a ship named GERMANIA, striding left. She extends her left arm forward hurling lightning bolts while holding a trident in her right hand. An eagle with spread wings perches at the bow. Waves crash below the hull. The legend arcs around the upper field, with dates flanking the central design, and the maker's mark M.& W.ST. appears in the lower exergue.
