| Beschrijving voorzijde | Enthroned facing figure of King Sigismund depicted in high medieval style, seated on an ornate throne and wearing an imperial crown, rendered in bold relief characteristic of early 15th-century hammered goldgulden coinage. The king holds a sceptre in his right hand and an orb in his left, with flowing robes spread across the throne. A small cross appears to the upper right of the figure. The circular Latin legend SIGISMVNDVS RO RX runs around the periphery, identifying him as King of the Romans.
