Obverse description Central field features an Imperial Orb surmounted by a cross, enclosed within a quadrilobe (four-lobed Gothic frame). The orb displays the characteristic horizontal band dividing the lower hemisphere. The entire device is rendered in relief against a flat field. A circular beaded inner border frames the design, with the legend SIGISMV.D RO NORVM REX running around the periphery in Gothic uncial lettering, identifying Emperor Sigismund as King of the Romans.
