Reverse description A mounted warrior depicted in dynamic profile to the right, seated upon a rearing horse, brandishing a spear held aloft in the right hand. A six-pointed star occupies the upper field above the horse. Below the horse, a horizontal exergual line separates the main design from the lower inscription, which is flanked by pellets and reads CF — an abbreviation for Commii Filius, denoting Tincomarus as son of Commios. The composition reflects strong Romanizing influence within a Late Celtic artistic tradition.
