| Obverse description | Plain, slightly concave field bearing a recessed rectangular incuse tablet centrally positioned. Within the tablet, the Latin inscription TINC is rendered in raised letters, serving as an abbreviated dynastic legend identifying the issuing ruler Tincomarus. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregular, biconvex profile typical of Late Iron Age British hammered gold staters, with a smooth surrounding field devoid of additional decorative elements. |

| Reverse description | A mounted warrior depicted in dynamic profile to the right, seated upon a rearing horse, brandishing a spear held aloft in the right hand. A six-pointed star occupies the upper field above the horse. Below the horse, a horizontal exergual line separates the main design from the lower inscription, which is flanked by pellets and reads CF — an abbreviation for Commii Filius, denoting Tincomarus as son of Commios. The composition reflects strong Romanizing influence within a Late Celtic artistic tradition. |
