Beschrijving keerzijde	A stylised horse prances to the right in the characteristic linear Celtic manner, its body rendered with schematic musculature and attenuated limbs typical of late Iron Age British staters. Above the horse appear a solar disc motif and a bucranium, both recognised Celtic religious and apotropaic symbols. The abbreviated inscription TAS-CIO, referencing the issuing chieftain Tasciovanos of the Catuvellauni, is disposed below and before the horse in the lower field. No exergual line divides the field. This inscription constitutes one of the earliest named attributions in ancient British numismatics, firmly associating the issue with a historically attested ruler.
