The horse's body is depicted as a sinuous, elongated curve occupying the upper and central field, with the limbs dissolved into a series of scrolls, pellets, and crescentic forms scattered across the lower field. Globular pellets of varying sizes are distributed throughout the field below the horse, a hallmark feature of the North East Coast Sun Type. A subsidiary decorative element, possibly representing a stylised charioteer or abstract attendant figure, appears to the left of the horse's body. No legend or inscription is present.
