| Descrizione del dritto | Highly stylised floral motif rendered in the Celtic abstract tradition, centrally placed within the flan and depicting a four-petalled rosette or flower formed from tightly wound spiral arcs in raised relief. The design is enclosed within a circular border of concentric lines, with a small pellet visible to the upper right of the floral device and a horizontal row of three pellets to the lower right. The surrounding field is plain and unlettered, consistent with the pre-inscription coinage of the Iceni. The overall composition is characteristic of the Freckenham Flower series, exhibiting the accomplished curvilinear craftsmanship of Late Iron Age East Anglian celts. |
