Additional information

The Freckenham Flower types belong to a late phase of Iceni gold coinage, produced in what is now Suffolk and Norfolk during a period when Roman commercial and political pressure was already reshaping tribal economies across southeastern Britain. The "No Lines" distinction within this group refers to the absence of linear field decoration — a feature used by specialists to subdivide an otherwise closely related die family. ABC 1429 is among the rarer subvarieties.

Iceni gold staters were withdrawn from circulation entirely following Boudica's revolt of 60–61 AD, after which Roman colonial administration suppressed tribal monetary production.
