| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by a stylised ear of wheat or barley rendered in high relief, with a prominent central stalk and boldly rendered grain clusters. Radiating lines above the ear suggest the spreading awns of the cereal head. The mint and royal legends CAM and CVN are inscribed in large, deeply struck Latin characters to the left and right of the central motif respectively, occupying most of the available field. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, characteristic of late Iron Age British hammered gold coinage. |
