Reverse description A stylised horse prancing to the right, rendered in the dynamic, fragmented Celtic artistic idiom, with a distinctive triple-branched tail fanning out behind the animal. Above the horse, the disjointed arms of a charioteer are depicted, a vestigial survival of the Classical biga type, accompanied by the first element of the tribal ruler's inscription. The remainder of the legend appears in the field before the horse. The design is executed in the accomplished late Atrebatic hammered style, with pellets and decorative infill elements occupying the field.
