Beschrijving voorzijde Plain convex field bearing a central device of two back-to-back crescents arranged symmetrically, their horns touching at top and bottom to form a vesica-shaped composition. The interior of each crescent is decorated with radiating lines and a cluster of pellets, evoking an abstract solar or floral motif characteristic of Late Iron Age Celtic die-cutting. The surrounding field is otherwise unadorned, the blank flan surface showing the typical irregular contour of a hand-struck Celtic gold stater.

Beschrijving keerzijde A stylised horse prances to the right within a beaded or linear border circle, rendered in the highly abstracted manner typical of Trinovantian coinage. Above the horse, a prominent spiral sun symbol occupies the upper field, while a branching vegetal motif appears below the horse's body. The legend ADDEDOMAROS is disposed around the central design within the circle, representing one of the earliest named inscriptions on British Celtic coinage. The overall composition reflects the characteristic late La Tène artistic vocabulary adapted to the coinage of south-eastern Britain.
