Obverse description Central vertical wreath divides a horizontal two-line inscription, with the abbreviated legend reading DV-MN flanking the wreath on either side. The design is framed by a ring of pellets, with a three-armed spiral motif occupying opposite quarters of the field. The wreath, rendered in the characteristic late Iron Age British style, fills the flan, leaving little open field. The composition is consistent with the die typology associated with the Corieltavian ruler Volisios Dumnocoveros, here appearing on a mule die pairing with obverse elements drawn from an earlier issue.
