Stylised anthropomorphic faces occupy the four angles formed by the crossing wreaths, each angle marked by a pellet-in-ring motif near the curves, with outline crescents disposed toward the periphery. The overall composition is characteristic of the Gallo-Belgic derivative tradition, rendered in a highly stylised, non-representational manner typical of late Iron Age British Celtic die-cutting. |

A four-spoked wheel device is positioned behind and above the horse, a common emblematic motif in British Celtic coinage. The abbreviated inscription TASC appears in the field around the horse, beginning above the tail and continuing below the belly, rendered without a crossbar in the letter A, consistent with the epigraphy of the Tasciovanos series. The die-cutting is of reduced quality and irregular execution, consistent with a contemporary counterfeit of an official Tasciovanos gold stater, struck on a bronze core subsequently plated with gold. |
