| Obverse description | Heavily stylised and largely blank convex field characteristic of Corieltauvi coinage, retaining only vestigial traces of the wreath or head motif ultimately derived from the Macedonian gold stater prototype. The surface exhibits bold, flowing relief with abstract curvilinear forms reduced to near-abstraction, with no legible inscription. The gold plating over the bronze core is visible at the lower right where a chip exposes the green-patinated base metal beneath, confirming the plated nature of the flan. |

| Reverse description | Stylised disjointed horse motif rendered in the characteristic abstract Celtic manner of the Corieltauvi tribe, with the body depicted as bold sweeping curves occupying the right field. Above the horse, a partial Latin legend reading IISVP R ASV, referencing the ruler name Esuprasu, is arranged in the upper left field alongside schematic ornamental devices including pellets, crescents, and a ladder or zigzag symbol. Additional annulet-and-pellet ornaments are disposed in the lower field, consistent with the Corieltauvi decorative vocabulary.
