| Descrizione del dritto | Stylised wreath motif with leaves oriented upwards, rendered in the debased Celtic artistic tradition characteristic of contemporary counterfeits of the Early Clacton type. A schematic draped cloak and crude profile head are discernible within the design, executed with noticeably reduced engraving quality compared to official issues. The surface now presents as corroded bronze with green patination, the original gold plating having largely worn away. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with the uninscribed tradition of this series. The overall design derives ultimately from the laureate head of Apollo found on the Macedonian gold stater prototype. |

A scatter of multiple pellets occupies the field above the horse, while a star motif appears below the animal's nose. Beneath the horse's body is a decorated pellet with two downward-extending arms flanked by a ring, and a coffee-bean shaped ornament is positioned below the tail. A zigzag line runs through a crescentic exergual area at the base of the design. No legend is present, and the execution throughout reflects the degraded workmanship of a contemporary counterfeit struck on a bronze core with a gold-washed surface. |
