| Descrizione del rovescio | Disjointed Celtic horse advancing left, its rectangular body formed by two curved segments in a highly schematised composition. A group of four, occasionally three, parallel lines appears behind the legs, while a dense field of pellets above is sometimes linked into a lattice arrangement. A four-armed spiral occupies the space before the horse, frequently rendered in a blundered form. A small arc or linear teardrop motif, sometimes elongated, appears beneath the neck, and an isolated coffee-bean pellet is placed behind the horse with no associated lines. Below the horse, a four-pronged pellet crab with notably elongated arms, occasionally surrounded by additional small pellets, anchors the lower field, while a segmented exergual line with zigzag ornament and pellets below completes the design. |
