A prominent spike-with-curve motif, serving as a hairbar, crosses the wreath horizontally. The facial features are rendered in a bulbous, schematic manner with a small projecting chin, while a cluster of hair curls descends at the rear, reflecting the late Celtic tendency toward bold abstraction over representational fidelity. |
