| Beschrijving voorzijde | Highly stylised six-armed wreath spiral radiating from the centre of the flan, executed in bold raised lines characteristic of Late Iron Age Celtic die-cutting. Three crescents are arranged at the hub of the spiral, a decorative motif derived from the abstracted laureate head of earlier Macedonian gold stater prototypes. The individual arms of the spiral curve symmetrically across the field, terminating near the edge of the irregular flan. The overall design reflects the advanced abstract geometric tradition of Trinovantian coinage under Addedomaros. |
