Obverse description Two back-to-back outline crescents in opposed arrangement, flanking a central wreath motif. The design is rendered in the abstract Celtic geometric style characteristic of the Atrebatic coinage tradition. The field is otherwise plain, with the crescentic forms dominating the flan. The striking is irregular, consistent with the coin's identification as a contemporary counterfeit struck on a base bronze core.
