Obverse description Heavily corroded and worn field with traces of a stylised floral or vegetal design executed in the Celtic La Tène artistic tradition. The surface is largely obscured by encrustation and loss of the original gold wash, revealing the base bronze core beneath. Debased die-work suggests the work of a contemporary counterfeiter imitating the authorised coinage of Addedomaros. No legible inscription or lettering is discernible. The irregular flan edge is characteristic of crudely hammered late Iron Age British coinage.

Reverse description A cruciform design occupies the central field, composed of curvilinear Celtic ornamental motifs including spirals, pellets, and sinuous scroll-work arranged symmetrically around a central axis in four quadrants. The design is executed in a debased imitation of the authorised Addedomaros quarter stater type, with the cruciform pattern formed by interlocking curves and pellet groupings typical of late Iron Age British numismatic art. Traces of the original gold plating are visible in recessed areas of the design. No inscription is present, consistent with contemporary counterfeit production. The flan is irregular and the strike slightly off-centre, further attesting to its unofficial manufacture.
