背面描述	Central field displays the heraldic shield of Bourbon, party per bend sinister and charged with multiple fleurs-de-lis, set within a lozenge or ornamental frame supported by small lions passant at the flanks and base, all executed in high relief against a plain field. A decorative cross or sceptre-like ornament surmounts the shield at the chief. Four small lions or heraldic supporters are disposed around the shield in the angles formed by a faint quadrilobe or cross arrangement, reinforcing the dynastic imagery of the House of Bourbon. The surrounding legend, rendered in Gothic uncial minuscule, reads: mONETA nOVA AVREA ELECT LEODIENSIS, identifying this as the new gold coinage of the elected (Prince-Bishop) of Liège. The inscription is separated from the inner device by a raised beaded circle, consistent with the standard presentation of late 15th-century Flemish-region gold coinage.
