| Descrizione del rovescio | A full-length frontal figure of Saint John the Baptist stands at center in the field, depicted in flowing robes in the Gothic style, holding a long cross in his left hand and raising his right hand in a gesture of blessing. The figure is rendered with the elongated proportions characteristic of medieval hammered coinage. A small crown-shaped mint mark appears at approximately 11 o'clock in the inner field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the saint's figure along the coin's periphery, identifying the patron saint. The overall design closely emulates the reverse type of the Florentine florin. |
