| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length standing figure of Saint Stephen, the protomartyr, depicted facing left and wreathed, within an almond-shaped mandorla. The saint holds a palm frond in his left hand as an attribute of martyrdom, with the mandorla intersecting both the upper and lower portions of the surrounding legend. The composition is rendered in a Gothic style characteristic of late sixteenth- and early seventeenth-century municipal coinage. |
