Reverse description A floriated cross with a quadrilobe at its centre occupies the full field, its arms terminating in decorative Gothic trefoil flourishes. The four cantons formed by the cross are charged alternately with two crowned Gothic letter F's and two fleurs-de-lis. The circular Latin legend in Gothic script runs along the outer border within a beaded circle, invoking the threefold sovereignty of Christ in the traditional Carolingian formula.
