| Popis rubu | Central device features a cross fleury — a decorative cross with each arm terminating in a fleur-de-lis — occupying the majority of the reverse field. Four additional fleurs-de-lis fill the angles between the arms of the cross, creating a densely heraldic composition. The entire design is enclosed within an inner beaded circle, with the Latin Christogram legend circling between the beaded borders. The lettering is separated by small cross stops. The overall style is consistent with early sixteenth-century French royal hammered gold coinage. |
