Reverse description A floriated cross formed of fleurs-de-lys occupies the full field, with a central quatrefoil at the intersection of the arms. In each of the four angles formed by the cross arms stands a crowned ermine spot, referencing the heraldic arms of Brittany. The overall design is elegant and symmetrical, executed in the refined Gothic style characteristic of late 15th- and early 16th-century French royal coinage. A beaded inner circle surrounds the composition, with the Latin devotional legend occupying the outer margin. The mint mark appears in the legend.
