| 裏面の説明 | A large floriated cross with elaborately trefoiled and foliated terminals occupies the central field, set within a quatrefoil or quadrilobe frame whose lobes are delineated by a beaded inner border. Small crowns appear in each of the four spandrels between the arms of the cross and the quadrilobe, a design element typical of the French-inspired écu au soleil type adapted in the Low Countries. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded circle, beyond which a circumferential Gothic legend in uncial letters carries the Christus vincit acclamation. The relief is bold and the Gothic ornamental vocabulary is consistent with late 14th-century Guelders mint production. |
