Reverse description A bold floriated cross with triple-bar stem divides the field into four quarters; each arm terminates in an ornate fleur-de-lis finial, and the centre is adorned with a small rosette or mullet at the intersection. The four quarters are decorated alternately with fleurs-de-lis and rampant dolphins in the Gothic manner, echoing the heraldic quarterings of the obverse. A beaded inner circle frames the entire cross design, and the circumferential Latin legend is contained between two beaded borders along the rim.
