Reverse description A floriated cross at center, enclosed within a quadrilobe frame. Eagles and lions occupy the terminal lobes at the four ends of the cross arms, alternating in heraldic fashion, while rosettes fill the exterior angles between the lobes. The overall design is characteristic of the French royal ecu d'or type adapted for Flemish comital coinage, with the christogram legend encircling the entire composition in the surrounding legend band.
