| Beschrijving voorzijde | Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy, enthroned within a Gothic stall (throne), depicted in full frontal view. The duke holds an upraised sword in his right hand as a symbol of sovereign authority, while his left hand rests upon a Burgundian shield bearing the arms of Burgundy. The entire composition is enclosed within a polylobe border, a characteristic Gothic framing device. The field surrounding the enthroned figure is plain, with the ornate Gothic architectural setting rendered in fine hammered relief.
