| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central design composed of an elaborate interlaced cross formed by two intertwined S-shaped scrolls adorned with fleurs-de-lis terminals, creating four quadrants. In the upper and lower angles of the cross appear crowned letters I (for Ioana), while the lateral angles bear small crowned shields. The entire device is rendered in a refined late-Gothic ornamental style. A beaded inner border frames the design, and the circular Latin legend runs along the outer periphery between beaded borders. |
