Obverse description Central elaborate floriated cross with ornate foliate terminals extending toward the coin's edge, dividing the field into four quarters. The cross is highly stylized in the Burgundian manner, with scrollwork and floral decorations adorning each arm. The peripheral legend in Latin runs along the inner border of the coin, interrupted by the cross arms. The date 1632 appears integrated within the legend. The overall design is characteristic of late Flemish hammered gold coinage, with an irregular flan consistent with hand-struck production.
