Beschrijving voorzijde Highly abstracted derivation of an Apollo head facing right, rendered in the fluid, stylized manner characteristic of Late Iron Age Celtic coinage. A deeply abstracted wreath encircles the design, with each leaf element offset and irregularly positioned; leaf tips point downward above the hairbar and upward below it. A prominent hairbar (spike) traverses the wreath and terminates in two parallel curved hooks embedded within the wreath. In the field before the face, two conjoined linear crescents with elongated, tightly curled terminals form the distinctive 'wide crescents' motif that defines this type. Below, a vestigial cloak is indicated by a stubby fastener bearing faint linear decoration.

Beschrijving keerzijde A stylized horse advances to the right, rendered in the energetic, abstracted manner typical of British Celtic coinage of this period, with a flowing mane indicated above the neck. A sunburst rosette occupies the field above the horse. Beneath the horse's body, a cog or wheel motif is placed centrally. Behind the hindquarters, two small arcs are positioned near the rear legs. Ringed pellets appear in the field below the tail, serving as decorative fill elements common to the Atrebatic series.
