Obverse description Two back-to-back crescent motifs flank a central vertical wreath or plant device composed of beaded and incuse striated bands. The crescents, rendered in outline with their open sides facing inward toward the central element, are positioned symmetrically in the left and right fields. The overall design is abstract and characteristic of Late Iron Age British Celtic coinage, with no inscription or legend present.

An uncertain ring-like or annular object is visible above the horse, while additional pellet-in-ring motifs are distributed in the fields to the front and rear of the animal.
