Obverse description Stylised male head facing left, rendered in the abstract Celtic artistic tradition. The head is adorned with a prominent beaded diadem across the brow, with elaborately rendered flowing hair depicted as a series of curved and scrolled strands trailing behind. The facial features — including a large almond-shaped eye, defined nose, and mouth — are boldly modelled in high relief. Decorative scroll and pellet motifs fill the field around the head, characteristic of the southern British Celtic coinage style.
