Obverse description Stylised abstract design in the Late Iron Age Celtic tradition, featuring a central cruciform motif formed by the intersection of a plain horizontal line and a vertical three-line spike or corn-ear element. The surrounding field is filled with curvilinear wreath-derived ornament, rendered as flowing arcs and pellet-bordered bands radiating outward from the centre. Pellets and raised bosses punctuate the design at intervals, giving the composition a dynamic, organised complexity characteristic of Atrebatic quarter stater coinage.
