| Obverse description | Plain, uninscribed field bearing a single large letter A (or digamma), rendered in bold relief at the centre of the flan. The symbol, associated with the name of the Atrebatic king Commios, is deeply struck and dominates the entire obverse surface. The flan is irregularly rounded, characteristic of Celtic hammered coinage of this period, with a slightly convex profile. No border, legend, or additional design elements are present, lending the type a stark, abstract quality typical of Late Iron Age British coinage. |

| Reverse description | A stylised Celtic horse prances to the left, rendered in the fluid, abstract manner characteristic of Late Iron Age British coinage. The mane is depicted as a ladder pattern composed of curved lines, and the tail is double-stranded. Above the horse appears the letter E with its arms pointing to the right and its middle arm bent downwards, serving as the primary dynastic symbol of the Commios E-type series. Below the horse, a figure-of-eight motif with a ring enclosed within the lower loop serves as an additional decorative device. The composition fills the irregularly shaped flan, with all elements in relief against a plain field. |
