Obverse description Highly stylised Celtic design in the La Tène artistic tradition, depicting a fragmented wreath or cross motif composed of bold crescentic and curvilinear elements radiating across the flan. Two prominent opposing crescent forms dominate the central field, flanked by abstract foliage-like projections. A circular annulet surmounting a vertical stem — interpreted as a cross or sceptre device — occupies the lower central field, with a further annulet visible at the upper field. The overall composition reflects the characteristic abstract dissolution of classical prototypes into purely decorative Celtic imagery, with no legible inscription.
