At the centre, a prominent cogwheel or rayed sun symbol with a raised central boss is depicted, its serrated outer ring clearly defined. Surrounding the central solar device, bold interlocking C-shaped and S-shaped scroll flourishes fill the field in an organised yet fluid composition. A secondary circular motif, possibly a pellet-in-ring element, is visible in the upper field. The design is entirely anepigraphic, with no legend or inscription. |
