| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by a stylised ear of wheat or barley rendered in bold relief, with a prominent central stem and paired grain pods flanking it symmetrically in the characteristic Late Iron Age Celtic artistic convention. Vertical striated lines suggestive of crop stalks fill the background field on either side of the ear. The abbreviated mint inscription CA to the left and MV to the right of the central motif identifies the issuing authority at Camulodunum. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck production of this period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A highly stylised wild horse rendered in the abstract Celtic tradition gallops to the left across the field, its body reduced to schematic geometric forms with angular, disconnected limbs — characteristic of the 'Wild' type series attributed to Cunobelinus. A cruciform or angled-leg motif appears beneath the horse's body, giving this variety its distinctive typological designation. The legend CVN appears in the lower exergue, abbreviated from Cunobelin, the ruler's name. The entire design is enclosed within a border of raised pellets, and scattered pellets punctuate the field as decorative filling elements. |
